Spring in NYC

The New York City caltwalks didn't disappoint anyone. The belts, most coveted accessories. The garment, the dress. Pale colours and pure cuts could sum up, in general, most of the collections.

I can't deny Oscar de la Renta is one of my favourites. Despite being Dominican and getting his higher education in Spain, he is the one who knows better the US chic. Clean cuts, pure colours and flattering silhouettes is all what his girls need:

3.1 Phillip Lim, and the importance of the blazer. At his catwalk he showed how to combine in different ways a blazer and a dress, the main outfit in his vision of next spring. With the blazer he achieves a serious touch in the childish dresses.

Narciso Rodrguez bet for the dresses. His classic but still innovative vision of fashion, allows him play with the proportions, the silhouettes and the femininity.

Legs and high waists, principal points at Proenza Schouler. Their advantage is that every collection is always better than the previous one. They used constantly belts to emphasize the waist. One of the most coveted collections at the NY Fashion Week.

Zac Posen's collection was about legs too. His skirts are suitable only for stylized legs, however, his silhouette is body-conscious, and the whole outfit is extremely flattering, even if you don't have Gisele's body.

Marc Jacobs, the evolution. He moves on from that bourgeois vision, despite there are still some reminiscences:

He achieves to mix everything in a show which in some points, eclipsed the collection with the videos, the music and the model's order.
