Almost nine o'clock. My dear friend Allure and I were walking fastly in our high-heels, the street seemed to be endless, finally we arrived to the Italian Pavilion, when I saw the queue, I instantly thought, "if I have come to Barcelona for nothing I will kill somebody". Eventually we could come inside -after 9 p.m- and we could find the lovely Ivan, the PR for Txell Miras, who nicely walked us to our places in the second row. What a feeling seeing my name on the paper in my place!
It was surprising that the beautiful Marina P�rez didnt open the catwalk, she is even more beautiful than she seems in pictures! The collection, named Framing, was mainly composed by little black dresses and excellent coats, whose patterns verged on perfection. Black was the colour -obviously black has always been the Txell Miras colour- and the materials which catched my eye were cotton and wool. The collection went farer than the obvious, "this collection focuses on the physical concept of the frame, the limitations surrounding a visual speech, text and its context. It is a reflection on sound and silence, and on understanding and misunderstanding" the designer said.
My pictures are not worth it because they are all blurred, but here you got the video, it is only two minutes, and it is worth watching it!
Casi las nueve de la noche. Mi querid�sima Allure y yo camin�bamos r�pidamente en nuestros altos tacones, la calle parec�a interminable, pero finalmente llegamos al pabell�n italiano, en donde tendr�a lugar el desfile. Cuando vi la cola que hab�a para entrar, pens� "como haya venido hasta Barcelona para nada mato a alguien!". Al final entramos -ya eran m�s de las 9 de la noche- y encontramos a Iv�n, que fue super amable con nosotras y enseguida nos llevo a nuestros sitios -en segunda fila-, a pesar del clima ca�tico que reinaba en aquellos momentos. La sensaci�n de ver mi nombre en el asiento fue incre�ble.
Fue muy sorprendente que Marina P�rez no abriese el desfile, he de decir que es mucho m�s guapa en persona que en las fotos! La colecci�n de Txell Miras, llamada "Framing", estaba principalmente compuesta por vestidos negros de diferentes formas y hechuras y abrigos con unos patrones que rozaban la perfecci�n. El negro fue el color -aunque eso no es noticia en una colecci�n de Txell Miras- y los materiales que m�s llamaron mi atenci�n fueron probablemente la lana y el algod�n. La colecci�n fue mucho m�s all� de lo evidente, "esta colecci�n gira entorno al concepto f�sico del marco, los l�mites que envuelven un discurso visual, el texto y su contexto. Una reflexi�n sobre el sonido y el silencio, sobre la comprensi�n y la incomprensi�n" dijo la dise�adora.
