This year's most expensive shoe, or boot I should say, can be yours for �9,430 or $14,000. They are alligator skin Manolo Blahniks. They are available at Manolo Blahnik's West 54th Street boutique in New York. (For these prices, I would want the boots to come with the remains of the animal so i could make myself a matching bag!)

The second most expensive shoe or boot of 2008 is the Louis Vuitton Grey Animal Skin Ankle Boots with Buckle, coming in a close second at a retail price of �7,945 or $11,842. (also, if you bought these shoes in July, they would have cost you a mere �5, 923 but today, with all the credit crunch business, you would pay the above price.....ouch!)
