The undeniable ethical question

I love fashion. I would die for wearing the lovely clothes on catwalks. Not because I would like to show other people how rich I am, but because I'd know the clothes I am wearing were thought for a team of professionals which know women body perfectly, which know trends perfectly and how market works. The sad truth is I have to resign myself with high street stores most of the time. It could be ok, but it's not. High street stores have designers but it seems they don't use them a lot. They invest a lot of money in factories in sub-developed countries to make the product cheaper and then, the only thing they offer to you is a bad copy of garments seen on catwalks. I wonder why they do that: do they know we actually are concerned about fashion and we get when they are copying something? or they just do it because women are obsessed with catwalks, big brands and looking "sophisticated"?

Me encanta la moda. Morir�a por poder llevar la ropa que sale en los desfiles. No porque quiero mostrar al mundo lo rica que soy (que no es el caso, obviamente), sino porque esos modelos que yo vestir�a est�n pensados por un equipo de profesionales que conocen el cuerpo de las mujeres perfectamente, que conocen las tendencias perfectamente y saben tambi�n c�mo funciona el mercado. La triste realidad es que tengo que resignarme a llevar ropa de tiendas como Zara la mayor parte del tiempo. Ellos invierten mucho dinero en f�bricas in pa�ses subdesarrollados para hacer que el producto les salga m�s barato, y a�n as�, la �nica cosa que te ofrecen es una mala copia de las prendas que se han visto en los desfiles. Tienen realmente seis meses para copiarlo, desde que se presentan las prendas, hasta que llega la temporada adecuada. Me pregunto por qu� lo hacen: �realmente sabr�n que estamos preocupados por la moda y que nos damos cuenta que todo lo que tienen en sus tiendas es copiado? �o solo lo hacen porque las mujeres de hoy en d�a estamos obsesionados con los desfiles, las grandes casas de moda y parecer sofisticadas?
