I Choo Choo Chose Choo...

Known for impeccable shoes and handbags, the Jimmy Choo brand has now focused its designer eye on well, eyewear. The new venture has already brought with it a legion of fans in the celebrity domain.
Gwen Stefanie is among the first few celebrities to be seen in the brand. On a family day out with Kingston and her man, Gwen wore a L.A.M.B checked dress and the new Jimmy Choo JJ with coiled snake arms. This pair is one of the most interesting pieces in the collection and it fits Gwen's style to a T.

A month or so ago, Jessica Alba was also seen rocking the same pair. The style is classic but the rope hinges and gold logo stamp adds a twist. This pair retails for $350 and can be bought online at Bergdorf Goodman.

Although the pair Gwen and Jessica chose look great, my favourite from the collection is the Jimmy Choo Lou sunglasses, which are a modern take on the Wayfarer style.

Back in the day the ever so important rule was to match your shoes to your bag. Fast forward a couple of decades, and now it's all about matching your jeans to your sunglasses!

Recently reality TV star and designer, Lauren Conrad was easily spotted out shopping wearing fire engine red skinny jeans and sunglasses to counter match.
Whilst taking her kids to the park, the queen of coordination, Victoria Beckham, showcased this look. She teamed her bright yellow DvB aviator shield sunglasses with a stunning pair of DvB bootcut jeans in a blinding shade.

Now you don't have to worry about restricting your outfit to one key piece because now you can have two!

Posh & Broke love Chanel sunnies- Part 4

Reena Hammer the girlfriend of Jonathan Rhys Meyers has been spotted shading her eyes in the quirky new Chanel 5120 sunglasses.

The same Chanel model was seen on Ashley Olsen at the Chanel 2008-2009 show as well as throughout her stay in Paris. Reena however, has gone for the two-toned frame, which is a unique twist.

It Must Be Love

Party of Five and Ghost Whisperer star, Jennifer Love Hewitt, is certainly in love with her new Prada Fantasy Fairy bag. She's even got herself a wallet to match!

Miss Hewitt has been seen toting around the bag nonstop ever since it reached her possession, and who could blame her?

The gorgeous eclectic designs which still feature on the Prada Website, have caught the eye of many including quirky actress Tilda Swinton. And if counterfeit website are anything to go by, this bag is certain to become a hit!

Head Case

Nicole Richie and Mischa Barton must have re-organised their wardrobes of late, and dug out their favourite accessories of summer 2007.

Both former BFF's were caught out this week sporting their Axl Rose style head bands and head scarfs. Don't like the look on either of them because usually they pull it off really well. And Richie's boho-hippy style is still very much present...i guess Rachel Zoe hasn't completely rubbed off yet.

Shaded celebrities: What sunglasses are they wearing now?

When it comes to celebrities and their sunglasses, i take notice! And most recently i have notice celebrities such as Jessica Alba and Penelope Cruz donning the very classy Bvlgari 862 sunglasses. These sunglasses were first made popular by Angelina Jolie during her Cannes Film Festival appearances. They can be bought online at Otticanet for US $ 221.

Cut-away lenses are a huge trend at the moment, thanks to the style being popularised by the ever so famous Tom Ford Whitney sunglasses. Like many designers, Versace have bought out their own version of the cut-out lens style in the form of Versace 4114. The feature the Versace logo on both sides of the frame as well as the 'Versace' written on both temples. It sounds like alot of labelling, but it is very discreetly done. The Versace 4114 sunglasses worn by Jessica Alba, Charlize Theron and actress Melora Hardin, were seen in the print campaigns featuring Kate Moss...and if Kate Moss can't make you buy something, who can?

Celebrities Heart Tom Ford Sunglasses

Tom Ford sunglasses are making a splash in celebrity la la land. From the unfit head-shaving mother, to the socialite, to the rehab addict and back up to the glamorous women of Hollywood, everyone's in L.O.V.E with Tom Ford Sunglasses.

Tom Ford Margaux seems to be the most popular celeb choice with Cameron Diaz, Lindsay Lohan, Kate Beckinsale, Kate Hudson and Mischa Barton all being seen sporting a pair.

Although Tom Ford makes exceptional sunglasses, i absolutely hate the Tom Ford Anouk model that Nicole Richie and Kimberly Stewart have been seen in. The Tom Ford Anouk model was seen on the gorgeous Tom Ford Ads but the style doesn't really translate well in reality.

My Fav pairs would have to be the Tom Ford Camilla as seen on Monica Cruz (penelope Cruz' pretty little sister), and the Tom Ford Hawkings as seen on Lindsay Lohan, Ashley Olsen and Heidi Klum, they're too cool for school...

Drew Barrymore is a Gucci Goddess

I am so pleased Gucci has picked Drew Barrymore as the face of the new Gucci Fine Jewelry collection.

She is the first celebrity to feature in a Gucci campaign and a not so obvious celebrity choice at that, but she looks absolutely magnificent and makes the jewelry look even more beautiful.

Spring 2008: Alexander McQueen

When I first cast my eye upon the Spring 2008 Alexander McQueen show, Isabella Blow did not come to mind even though this collection was an outright ode to her fashion sense and generosity towards McQueen.

The large flamboyant bird wings on many of Alexander McQueen's pieces made me recall a purchase that blogger Agathe from Style Bytes had purchased on website Etsy. It was a large Fauna Parrot Necklace, that some may call ugly, while others, like myself, think is spectacular.

It's funny how designs from a International fashion show in Paris can make you think about a humble blogger all the way in Norway.

If you want quirky pieces, this is the online place to go, but be warned, it's not for everyone!

I think i have an addiction!

Ok i don't think this is healthy anymore, but i have bought three pairs of designer sunglasses in the past 2 and a half month's!

First it started with a pair of Gucci 2591/s sunglasses, then once my cravings were satisfied i purchased a pair of YSL 6107 sunglasses because of the Swarovski Crystal lettering.

Then i decided i needs a new pair for summer, so last week i made my dad (the enabler) go to the city to put in an order for a pair of Chanel 6023 sunglasses as seen in the last picture but in brown.

Mind you these three are not including chain store sunglass purchases and others on my shelf that have been left neglected or regretabbly sold on ebay. I swear i could make a collage with the number of sunglasses i have!

Anyways i have officially banned myself from buying anymore...well at least for a while!

Kanye's Kookie Glasses

Kanye defintely has a kooky eyewear fetish. Last month we saw him perform in a pair of white Blinder/shutter sunglasses, which although may not be very practical, looked super cool.

Off stage his sunglass choices are always a bit different and a bit bolder than most, however his fetish doesn't stop there. He turned upto the Christian Dior show this week in very trendy, very geeky glasses.

Can't wait to see what he dishes out next!

When Celebs wear Past Seasons this Season

Celebs are known for making specific clothing pieces a must have amongst the masses. We had the 'it' bags, the 'it' shoes and the 'it' sunglasses, with the looks being seen on famous faces and then filtered down to local retail stores.

The Alexander McQueen skull scarf was no exception, the scarf that was seen on all the starlets was worn and tossed at seasons end, clearly proving that for many it was a purely a fad.

However, our lovely little Nicole Richie has incorporated the scarf into her own style by wearing it three seasons down the track, clearly telling us that "if you like it wear it!"

Wayfarers take on Fashion Week

Although some of you may have ditched your wayfarers at summers end, wayfarers still hold a special position on the faces of the fashionable set at the seasons fashion shows. Wayfarers made an appearances in the form of versatile black, to bright whites to fire engine reds, adding an 80's touch to any outfit.

Hilary Duff at Lax airport

Hilary Duff looked casual cool at Lax Airport yesterday, keeping her outfit minimully coloured with tones of cream and black. She accessoried with a Louis Vuitton Damier bag, Chanel flats and Marc Jacobs MJ 098 studded aviator sunglasses, which can be purchased authentically online at Otticanet for US $ 235.

They're at Lax Airport Beyonce! Well one of them at least! Victoria Beckham looked like quiet the military women heading to LAX airport to promote her DVB line in Japan.

Well lets start with the positives, i love all the pieces of clothing that make up Victoria Beckham ensemble, from the black Hermes leather bag, to the DVB aviator sunglasses, to the Balenciaga coat all topped of with an excruciatingly expensive Hermes cap.

Great pieces, BUT put them all together and you've got a walking non talking fashion victim. The girl really needs to lay back a bit and realise life is not a constant magazine editorial.

Jennifer Lopez taking oversized bags to a whole new level.

Jennifer Lopez has been looking exceptional during her stay in London this week, making Trench Coats, cinched waists and wide brimmed hats her best friends. However, another accessory to pop on the scene was her never ending large croc tote.

This green croc print tote didn't appeal to me at all. It's huge! imagine how annoying it would be to rummage through that bag to find all your bits and pieces. Her outfit has already got a lot going on so maybe she might have done well to keep some things to a minimum.

Jennifer Lopez in London: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly!

No Offense to all you Jennifer Lopez fans who can't bare a single negative word said about her...but Jennifer Lopez looks like a complete transvestite/drag queen when she went out for an exclusive dinner with Top Shop retail owner in London!

I actually thought for a second that perhaps Jennifer left Marc Anthony and he had no choice but to hire a look-a-like. I'm sure she would have looked beautiful in person, but whoever applied her make up should have her ass sacked!

On a positive note, on arrival in Britian, Jennifer looked like the absolute style queen that she is in a gorgeous wide brimmed hat and a pair of lust-worthy navy long sleeve gloves!!! OMG she just looks fantastic here...

If Christian Dior made me pick...

If Christian Dior shouted me a couple of pair of shoes and and jewelry then this is what i would pick at the moment. I love both the feather ring and silver tone flower ring. Both made from silver tone metal and with Swarovski encrusted crystals. The really do create an impact.

Whilst the Camel My Dior sandal is the perfect shoe for summer and the color and heel are classic style. I am also a big fan or chunky wedges shoes and these Dior wedges from the cannage collection are dramatic in the most discreet kind of way. They give height as well as a solid walking ground.
