This post is about everything but fashion, and I am sorry about that. But I must tell you this is the end of an era. I've been isolated all weekend with no internet, it was such a frustrating experience. So I had a lot of time to think -despite my exams-. Pau Gasol, the best Spanish basketball player ever, has been transferred to LA Lakers, my favourite team. It's really the end of a very frustrating period for him, a lot of effort worthless, because he couldn't really fight for the NBA championship. Now, together with Kobe Bryant, they will make it, I am sure. This weekend it has been an exhibition about how great they play together.
Pau Gasol made Memphis wearing a fake bear to all his matches not very long ago. It's another symbol of the power of trends, even in sports.
One of the things I love most about London is its street-markets. So colourful, so cool and urbane, so cosmopolitan, with great shops, and with great bargains too. If you've been in London, probably you went to Camden Market. I won't never forget the man who is all Saturday-evenings there (maybe more), letting know the world he thinks "Jesus Christ is alive". His words, meaningless for the vaste majority, are heard in a high volume, as high as he can, because he wanted everybody to know how he thinks. Despite that, he always had people around him. The other unforgettable moment in Camden was when I saw this incredible man, with piercings in his whole body. You barely could see his skin because it was completely cover by piercings: face, arms, belly, legs... he was in pants and he earns a living allowing people to take pictures with him for one or two pounds. Sadly, Camden Market has burnt last weekend. It's estimated 300 people have lost their jobs because of it. It's the end of an era for this market, and terribly, also for me.
I totally ignore how many people watch One Tree Hill serial in USA or other countries. I know here in Spain not so much, and I can understand why, but the thing is I adore this tv serial, probably because it's a kind-of-reflection about what was my life long time ago. I am so sad about the chapter of last week, Haley and Nathan's (in the picture, in wedding gown) love seems each day more fragile and corruptible. I just to love that couple basically because I just to love that boy, a geek with great heart. Together they overcame so many problems! and now, it looks like a stupid-hot-nanny is about to finish with the romance. I wonder if I trully trust in love after all... Hopefully scriptwriters won't ruin my dream of "happily ever after" even if it's on tv, because if not, it will be the end of an era, also for me.
