Thanks Trish, for this photo of Uli's dress in the Macy's window - It's gorgeous!
We have about a dozen reports of a Raymundo Baltazar sighting on the "Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency" Show. Apparently he is a stylist for a fashion show in the movie "7-10 Split" that several of Janice's clients are working in. Congratulations, Raymundo!
Have you heard of the Hollywood Stock Exchange? Me neither, but it sounds like fun and you know our motto: On BPR we are all about the fun! Mags explains it all. Thanks Mags.
Click here for an article in Philly Inquirer speculating on who is asked to leave and if that person is, in fact, the villian. Thanks Sue Ellen and the PRGayBoys.
Speaking of odds - have you checked the odds on bodog lately? (Scroll down a little.) Now, your BPR Team doesn't encourage gambling of course and only provides this info for a little insight into the confidence expressed by the "betting public" in the prospects for the different PR designers.
BWE has a theory that the lack of t-shirts being offered by certain designers reveals the top four. This idea may or may not have any genuine merit, but if you click on the article you will see another shot of the Tim Gunn bobblehead. And we just can't get enough of the Tim Gunn bobblehead!
Emmett McCarthy's EMc2 Boutique will be featured on What Not To Wear. This episode features "Nancy G," a Las Vegas single mom. It airs on Friday August 4th at 9:00 PM, and August 5th at 12:00 AM and 2:00 PM on TLC. Congratulations, Emmett!
The current issue of Jane magazine not only has Heidi on the cover, but this quote inside: The first seasons winner, the outspoken Jay McCarroll, went on to have his own one-hour special, called Project Jay, about his like post-Project Runway. But a big part of the story line centered on the fact that Heidi had asked Jay to design a dress for her to possibly wear to the Emmys, because her show had been nominated for Outstanding Reality-Competition Program. At the last minute, she decided to go with a different designer and had someone else break the news to him.
On the show, Jay was pissed. Now he says, I spent a chunk of my life making a dress that was never worn. I made everything by hand, I went to L.A. for the fitting. That doesnt happen with other designers. At the time I was like, I hate you. But now everythings fine.... Thanks, Allison.
ETA: Dan Renzi has a fun little game of "What do you think happens" going on today. Tell him what you think!
