Sassy Publicist, Bide Me!

From Harper's Russia
To Harper's UK

What's the most embarrassing thing that can happen during fashion week? Falling for a model can actually help them get noticed. Sitting front row can help you get noticed too, and even more so if one publicist sits you there, and another makes you move back for someone while everyone watches. Harper's BAZAAR UK beats Harper's BAZAAR Russia. It was mortifying but I got over it, so let's get back to the show. Sass and Bide completed the day with monochrome prints, and a generously embellished black and white palette and its sister colours - bone, creme, grey etc. Surprisingly much like it's Spring/Summer '10 season. Sarah-Jane Clarke (sass) and Heidi Middleton (bide) showed stripes, trendy african inspired geometric prints, harem trousers, big shoulders, mini's, leather, fur, seashells, tight dresses with long flowing skirts, splashes of gold and an occasional feather. You might say the Aussies' perfected layering natural elements with industrial embellishments on strong silhouettes and tailored shapes, next time I'll be expecting to see more of an update.
