Before we start, let me start by saying that i do agree that black outfits are very chic. Simple, flattering and easy to put together. However seeing Angelina Jolie in black ensembles day after day for the last 2 years is making me wonder whether she is trying to cement this as her own unique look.

But seriously with a face that gorgeous and a body that could make cling-wrap look divine one should take advantage of their god given beauty and the variation the designer world as to offer.

Damn that Angelina!

All i can say is that, Angelina Jolie looks great 365 days of the year...no question about that! Unless you include leap years which will pop up her gorgeous radar to 366.

Pencil It In!!

Pencil skirts are an all time favourite for many celebrities because of their simple yet chic body hugging effect. Angelina Jolie is a massive fan of pencil skirts, wearing them anywhere and everywhere, and showing us the true art of dressing down a pencil skirt.

Whilst Hayden Panettiere, Hilary Duff, Fergie and Victoria Beckham cinched in their bodies with these slim line skirts, the catwalks of New York Fashion Week saw pencil skirt-clad models strutting down the runway in abundance, from well known names such as Michael Kors to younger labels such Staerk and Jenni Kayne.


I'm a pencil skirt lover, so this is a look i'll definetely continue wearing :)

Angelina Jolie at the Santa Barbara Film Festival

Angelina Jolie has definetely added fuel to the fire of those pregnancy rumours with this outfit.

Whilst at the 2008 Santa Barbara Film Festival, Angelina wore a loose fitting chiffon shirt, loose fitting maxi skirt and ballet flats.

However, what stood out most was the fact that she incorporated print in her outfit. As many are aware, Angelina is rarely seen in colourful attire, sticking to her love of black, whites, greys and beiges on a daily basis, so colourful print balanced with black was a nice change.

A lifetime investment- Leather Coats

Leather seems to be a best friend to many when the weather gets colder and colder. I'm sure everyone has one leather jacket or coat that has been sitting at the back of their wardrobe unworn for several years.

Now it's time to bring it out again with Beyonce and Angelina Jolie working the classic black leather coat into their winter wardrobes. Whilst many runways such as Chanel Cruise, Burberry Prorsum and Yves Saint Laurent undated the classic black coat with studs, stars, patent and quilting details.

I should invest in one soon because a leather coat is probably one of the most versatile things to invest in, as it pops up on many Fall runways every year, goes with everything, never goes out of fashion, and leather looks better as it gets older.

Umm how come nobody seems to bitch about Angelina Jolie being so ridiculously skinny? Ok magazines sometimes try to pick at it, but nobody seems to care.

Victoria Beckham always gets slammed for it, yet i think Angelina would have to be just as skinny. Maybe because the world loves Angelina and all her Charity work, that they have decided to turn a blind eye to it.

But she is looking rather gaunt at the set of her new film Changeling...

Angelina Jolie took Maddox out toy shopping this week to spend some quality mother and son time together.

Ok it was more of a toy shopping spree, but either way Angelina Jolie looked casually chic doing it, wearing her signature pencil skirt and black tank with ballet flats and Michael Kors MK 526 sunglasses (thanks to Flashy shades for the info on the sunglasses).

If only we could all look so good so casual...

I love these sunglasses that Angelina Jolie was seen recently parading around in. The shape, the classic style, the coloring and the croc detailing is absolutely beautiful (ok maybe Angelina makes them look spectacular).

But does anybody have a clue who the designer is? I really wanna know!!!

It may be illegal for me to write about these two girls in the same post, but hey thats what you get when you run after the same guy. Anyways, i really like both these casual outfits.

Angelina always seems to look classy no matter what she wears, and the pencil skirt, black cami, gorgeous sunglasses and nude flats prove no different.

While Jennifer Aniston wore a casual pair of jeans, topped with a one of the hottest trends of Fall-a plaid shirt!

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt attended the advanced screening of Darfur Now, in very appropriate and smart looking outfits, which relate to the seriousness of the movie at hand.

Wearing an off white silk button-down shirt, trendy wide leg pants, and i'm guessing a black YSL handbag, Angelina looked both womenly and classical.

Ohhhh Too cute: Angelina and Zahara Matching bags!

Angelina Jolie and two year old daughter, Zahara Jolie-Pitt were spotted out around town with matching handbags!

Not just any handbag mind you, they were both toting around a covetable white Valentino Braided Leather shoulder bag. Only difference between the two? Zahara had a divine mini version...too cute!!!

Some of us may never own a designer Valentino bag, but this just goes to show you the perks of being a Jolie-Pitt.

Angelina Jolie and her kids spent a fun day hanging out at New York's Central Park today. Angelina wore a simple white tank, grey pencil skirt, nude ballet flats, D&G 6006B sunglasses and a white Valentino Braided leather shoulder bag.

I just don't know how she manages to look so sexy in such a simple outfit! It's probably because she is sexy!!! Anyways Angelina doesn't seem to be the only style icon in the family, with Maddox sporting some super cool star-shaped shades (in blue of course!)

Oh and the last picture is so cute of Maddox hugging Pax...ohhh one happy family :)

Angelina Jolie knows that black is always the new black, which can be seen her countless amount of outfits she has worn over the month's all predominately black. You can't really go wrong with black, it's simple to wear, stylish, sophisticated, grown up, fuss free and can be worn over and over again without becoming tiring.

All she needs to look great is a complete black ensemble, a cool pair of shades and that gorgeous smile.
