Wild Berry

Mulberry had three presentations in the Kensington Orangery this London Fashion Week. Fabulously dressed waiting staff in red admiral jackets greeted the attendees in an unexpectedly (after previous struggles) civilised fashion with tea and biscuits. The show featured big hair by legendary Sam McKnight and fabulous Jungle Book remixes playing as the models, some with funny four legged friends, strutted their stuff. The french bulldogs might have been the highlight of the day as they put smiles on the faces of tired and cold fashion crowd. The collection received a very positive response from the audience, multiple fabrics were used in key pieces, and resurrection of the iconic trends as well as new techniques like multi-layering proved for a very exiting display. Key colours included black, plum, grape, camel, toffee and powder. Neutrals, tomato red, oxblood, bright blue and yellow lime appeared as the seasonal accent colours. Metallics and animal prints made an exciting come back in an unusual palette and cosy outerwear appeared re-invented with sheepskin and military looks. Lovely luxurious details like shiny dog leash fastenings and heavy hardware closures as well as posh fabrics is what makes this brand so desirable by a naughty english society ladies.
Mulberry also threw a fabulous party hosted by Alexa Chung where she was seen hanging out with her friends and where wild child Kesha was spotted by the margarita bar.
