Pitch Black

I decided to go see an emerging designer show, after all my support lies with those who need it most. The production was borderline disaster with the models stopping half way down the runway to look at the light above before continuing around the corner into what seemed like a never ending pause. But in the end it's all about the designs. And the designs eclipsed anything else that might have been criticised. The only all black show this season, Romina Karamanea fully committed to the dark trend. Her beautiful leather gowns with chain effect cut out leather trails fit for a Vampire Queen, hypnotised with their cufflink chain bracelets. The tweed fabric jacket with leather details sent an awe through the room. The over-sized curves trend also made an appearance with block shoulders and hips. I also adored the braided hair swept up in a half 40's wave.
