Watching a commercial for a pharmaceutical on TV I started to wonder why those cheerful Coca-Cola holiday ads or their cans don�t have a disclaimer like our packets of cigarettes. National Geographic calls fizzy drinks like these #1 WORST thing you can find at the supermarket. Even diet soda can cause arthritis, birth defects, fibromyalgia, Alzheimer�s, lupus, multiple sclerosis, diabetes and cancer. But most people don�t worry about their health until they don�t have it. So I�ll put it simply - soda is the fastest way to make you put on weight. It is the largest source of calories from the worst source � carbs. It confuses appetite-regulating hormones. No matter how healthy you eat if you drink soda it wipes out your efforts. If you stop drinking it you can loose 90 pounds in 7 months. Fructose in soda encourages appetite. Soda ruins your ability to process sugar so you take more of it in. Because it�s a drink it absorbs sugar into your body too fast, instead of processing it...talk about empty calories. And now, the instant health risks � constant cavities, mood swings, very high to very low energy levels. It is on the same level of danger as drinking alcohol and smoking because this type of sugar or sugar substitute consumption attacks the bones and encourages organ breakdown that leads to diabetes � which can cause you to loose your legs. I should have really posted this on Halloween.
