Here is soon-to-be-unveiled Beachcomber, above (slated for public viewing at next year's Detroit Motor Show). The big-wheeled, off-road Mini features an open-air design with little design touches like a steering-wheel-mounted compass, "strongly contoured" seats to keep you from bouncing out of the car, and lightweight door and roof units you can pop on if it starts raining.
