Born This Way

Lady Gaga has unveiled the cover art for her upcoming single, "Born This Way!" (Three days until it is released!)
I really wish my hair looked like hers, all day, 'errday. But what's with the horn-like things sticking out of her forehead and shoulders? I'm assuming they're courtesy of Photoshop, but maybe she was just born that way. (omg Hardy har.)

Besides Lady Gaga, Taylor Momsen's band, The Pretty Reckless, released their latest album on iTunes today. It's titled "Light Me Up," and the cover features a 5 year old blonde girl looking up at the camera holding a lighter (little TayTay?). Sooper cool! I actually like The Pretty Reckless' music, but Taylor Momsen reminds me of why

I like how unsubtly they say "TIPS" on the platform. They bring trashy to a whole new level, a level where trashy equals awesome and you can run around in your underwear with a leather whip and no one will say a thing.

Being the drooling maniac I am, I've abandoned my search for a nice floral print Erdem blouse and moved on to a pair of sparrow or daisy or cat print clogs or platforms or Mary Janes from Miu Miu's Spring 2010 collection. It's a bummer that Saks, Barneys, Net-A-Porter, etc. Have stopped selling them. I found two pairs of the clogs on eBay from a legit (!) seller, but I feel sort of cheated because Neiman Marcus sold the Mary Janes for half-off (they're obviously sold out now). The seller is doing that "buy it now" thing ($595) or "best offer" and I doubt she'll be too thrilled if I proffer like, $5, seeing that I just spent all my saved cash on the Opening Ceremony, I'LL SAY IT AGAIN, fur/lambskin/wool boucle jacket.

Can I frame Lindsey Wixson's jambes?

Apologies

I apologize for my lack of blogging. I've been sick and I still don't feel great but hopefully I'll write a nice long blog tomorrow. For the meantime, here are a few pictures I enjoy.

I DON'T KNOW. Got the picture from THIS guy.
This is great. (Can't find source nooo.)

Have a great weekend!

Miu Miu Collars and Harry Potter Fashion

I have a very strong desire for a cat printed Miu Miu collar. Seeing as they're something like $200, I don't think I'll be getting one anytime soon so I think a DIY is in order. There are about a million "Miu Miu Collar DIY" articles online, so it shouldn't be too hard. I even found a perfect replica of the Miu Miu cat motif that I can print out on transfer paper, cut out, and iron onto a collar.
To whoever this lovely image belongs to, I apologize because I cannot find the link to it in my history. We love youuuuuuu!

I've been re-reading all the Harry Potter books which is just proof of how pathetic my social life is. But anyway, I thought I would share some HARRY POTTER FASHION! Who knew Draco Malfoy was in a Burberry Prorsum ad campaign?
Emma Watson UK Elle 2009 (Sorry for the teeny picture!)

Oooh so trendy. I kind of revere Emma Watson but at the same time I find her annoyingly superior, like in the Rachel Berry/Lea Michele sort of way.

Miu Miu Ready To Wear Fall 2010

Femininity at it's best! So sad that Paris Fashion Week is already over - it is easily the most stylish time of the year. I still need to look through all of those incredibly inspiring street style pictures popping up everywhere!

Miu Miu Pre-Fall 09

If the Miu Miu fall collection is going to be anything in the direction of this pre-fall collection I think I'm gonna fall in love with Miu Miu all over again. Someone on the TFS said it reminded her of "Wednesday Adams goes to prep school" - I can definitely picture that. At the first glance the pieces looks serious but then you notice the subtle cute and quirky-ness about the clothes. The little bow details, the white collars peeking out or the mix of fabrics.

Paris Fashion Week: Louis Vuitton, Lanvin, Miu Miu

The main think I like about this collection is the pleats. Some of the dresses and skirts were really nice too but all in all I'm not too impressed. I think it's very safe and wearable but also a bit boring.

Classic Lanvin: ruffles, dramatic sleeves, vibrant colors and gorgeous shapes. <3

There's so much going on in all of those outfits but I think I like it. If you look past the styling there are many lovely individual pieces.
I absolutely hate the bags - not that I ever really do like LV bags - but seriously these are bad.

THAT dress

Two of my favorite runway dresses this season and how I'd wear them ^o^
