We wanted to know who you felt SHOULD win Season 5 of Project Runway and who you felt WILL win Season 5 of Project Runway. You could only vote once in this poll so we know that lots of you had opinions. You overwhelmingly selected Leanne Marshall as being the designer that should and will win. You can click here to see how you voted.
Our readers selected Jeffrey Sebelia as the designer that would win in Season 3 (click here) and also stated that Christian Siriano would win Season 4 (click here). Will your predictions be accurate for Season 5? Will Leanne triumph? Watch what happens!

The Waiting Room

I know, I know - it's a long day. Unfortunately, the news is a bit thin but we've plucked a few items of interest to amuse you with:
It isn't a proper Wedensday until the Swami has spoken. And look here, he has plenty to say! Mr. Gratz cries conspiracy over last week's result in addition to his fearless prediction for the final 3. You must go there now.
WWD subscribers will want to check out this new article about Jeffrey Sebelia and his new line "Good Vig".
You don't need a subscription to see WWD's update on Project Courtroom. Production on S6 continues, but questions remain for some of the potential advertisers on Lifetime.
It looks like Tim Gunn will be back in New York on October 19 for a benefit event, after production on S6 is completed.
We'll see you tonight!

Project Runway Shines Light on L.A. Designers

Reports that Season Six will film partly in Los Angeles have brought mixed reactions. Devoted fans want nothing to change about their beloved show. Forward-thinkers are eager to see something fresh and new.
The truth is that there has always been a strong Los Angeles presence on Project Runway. Auditions are held there every season and there has been at least one Los Angeles designer in the finale of every season so far.
Variety has an interesting article about the personality of the Los Angeles fashion designer and how he or she might be perfectly suited for the reality show format.
Hmmmmm...
Meanwhile, speaking of Los Angeles designers. Don't miss all of the great new material on Nick Verreos's blog.

BPR friend David Gilmore has posted his latest batch of sketches at Pretty On The Outside. In addition to Tim, don't miss Chris March and Nina Garcia!
Here's EW's weekly auf interview with Kit Pistol where she calls herself the "ghost designer of Season 4". Thanks Frank!
Jeffrey Sebelia gives his thoughts on the Season 4 designers to Between The Lines: Everyone takes them self so seriously. I think people are very self-conscious. And they're afraid of being judged. And they're afraid of how they're gonna be viewed. And they're afraid of how they're gonna be portrayed. And then they just come out afraid, in my opinion.
