Bags of Fun
If youre like me and havent started to look for holiday presents yet, Im here to help with some ideas in the upcoming weeks. One of the easiest and most appreciated gifts for a woman (or for yourself if you are one) is a handbag. If youre not sure of her style, I am yet to meet a woman that didnt gush over an Onna Ehrlich bag. I would know since I was there with her showcasing them to oohing and aahing celebrities back in the day. Oprah Magazine is a fan, so is InStyle, Lucky, Star, Us Weekly, E! News, Seventeen, and WWD. And since I started name dropping, some of her clients are Halle Berry, Rihanna, Cameron Diaz, Lauren and Audrina, Lindsay Lohan, Tyra Banks, Paris Hilton, Eva Longoria, Marcia Cross and Paula Abdul. More importantly, JUST LOOK AT THEM! Theyre gorgeous, fashionable and relatively affordable, especially with a 30% discount Onna is extending to all London Fashion Trends readers as our holiday gift to you. Just enter the code "Gift" into her promotional box when buying a bag. Prices reasonably start at $22 and all holiday orders must be in before November 28th. She will be happy to ship to the UK if required. www.onnaehrlich.com

Trick or Treat: Halloween 2009
Never one to miss a photo op, Paris Hilton decided to go along wearing a beaded teal dress by Hale Bob, Christian Dior Glossy 1 oversized sunglasses, a Chanel Medallion and sky high heels. She looked odd among the sea of stylish young mums donning boots, satchel bags, oversized shirts and shades.
It's funny how far Miss Richie has come. Now a mother of two with a long term partner and a successful fashion business. Yeah sure, Paris has her own line of this and that, but her life just seems that little less meaningful as she goes back and forth doing the same thing shes been doing for the last 5 years.
It's nice to see Hollywood parents actually spend quality time with their tots before they going out and getting smashed at yet another Hollywood Halloween party.

Oh Bondage!
Day seven of my piggy flu incarceration. I am loosing my mind and feel like the cat that sits behind the window wishing it was frolicking outside. I might as well be in cuffs.Heres pair of cuffs I wouldnt mind sporting - Cuffz by Linz. Gorgeous handbags made with police grade handcuffs. These babies are a real conversation starter. The best thing about the bags, is the fact that you can cuff your bag to the bar or to yourselfif youre really out of it. Cuffz exploded with popularity when Paris Hilton purchased five bags and was seen sporting them all over Hollywood. Now everyone from Fergie to Mischa Barton have at least one.

Paris Hilton at work!
Other than slaving away on weekdays doing Law and Journalism assignments, i work at a handbag store on weekends. For some bizarre reason, our store now stocks, yes, you guessed it, Paris Hilton Handbags!

The handbag company I work for is slowly building a reputation as "grandma's handbag store", with its much older retail assistants and old fashioned designs. Bringing in brands such as Guess, Kathy Van Zealand (who the hell?), Roca Wear and Paris Hilton are all attempts at connecting with the younger generation. What they don't realise is the majority of the younger generation know Paris' history and reputation and well, she's not the celebrity who's handbag you want to be flashing around with pride.
I thought the point of celebrity designers was to create unique items that reflected their own personal style, yet i have never seen Paris Hilton wear bags that reflected the styles she produced. I actually think she has much better taste in personal handbag choices then her designs. Nevertheless, her bags are kind of cute, with most of them designed in old school styles.
I personally wouldn't buy her bags purely because they have that cheaply produced nylon look with a completely overpriced price tag ($200 for Paris?). And to top it all off, the bags have "Paris Hilton" printed all over them in cursive writing.

Whats going on Paris?
However, as always Paris tacks her love a tad bit too far by wearing her sweatpants, with juvenile logoed tops, monogram printed hats and bright trend driven sunglasses. Oh and not mention those shutter sunglasses she's been sporting (which were first seen on Kayne West during one of his performances).
The sad thing is, that her usual style of coordinated outfits in feminine prints and colours actually suited her alot more but these days she's dressing more like a 14 year old rather than a 26 year old socialite...but hey at least she's not getting herself into trouble.

Clubbing Style: London to L.A
As we all know a favourite past time for many celebrities is hanging out at the high fly clubs from L.A to London. This month saw quiet a few celebrities head to their local clubs to party the night away in great and some not so great outfits.
Socialite Kimberly Stewart's style has become a lot more refined of late with a new short crop and a 70's twist to her look in a sleek jumpsuit and wooden soled shoes. Whilst one of her BFF's Paris Hilton appears to be going for more of a weird hippie/gypsy look of late with headbands, glitter, bright lips and all.
And then there's the British girls such as Kelly Osbourne who prefers to club in much more lady-like outfits then her past years of punky rocker trash. Whilst Kate Moss plays the Star-Spangled Girl in a jumpsuit from the Spring 2008 collection as she headed out to celebrate her 34th birthday.
And then you've got Pamela Anderson doing her darn-tooten-best to make Fendi look Tacky.

Leopard on Leopard
Mischa Barton recently went clubbing with her mum (what the ....?) in a conservative ensemble pimped up with not just one shot of leopard but two servings.
Her top and scarf combo is a purposely orchastrated clash of prints. The leopard on leopard look normally doesn't work well as Paris Hilton demostrated a while back. But is Mischa's animal print combo discreet enough to get away with?

Paris Hilton Channels Dorothy
As the once outrageous Paris Hilton starts to mellow, her fashion sense is still very much individual.
Preferring girly feminine looks that are sometimes a little too coordinated, Paris Hilton went out clubbing with grease monkey Brandon Davis, wearing puffy sleeves, a tartan dress and red Wizard Of Oz, Dorothy style shoes.
She looks surprisingly covered up and i do tend to get distracted by shiny things that's why I'm loving her mobile and pumps.

Paris Hilton Lip Injections
These aren't the most flattering photos of Paris Hilton, but celebrity sources claim that Paris has in fact had lip injections to plump up her lips. In these photos it looks very much like it, but i seriously hope not.
Even if you love her or hate her, she is naturally a very attractive girl and i hope she ain't getting bits and pieces put into her body to "perfect" it, especially at such a young age.
You be the judge, has Paris Hilton had lip injections or not?

Hollywood is going Bob crazy
From Rihanna's edgy do to Paris Hilton sophisticated cut, the Bob is one of the hottest hairstyles in Hollywood.
However, everyone this side of the world, seems to be rocking the 'Pob' the look that was relaunched thanks to Victoria Beckham.
When comparing all the bob clad girls, i think Paris Hilton and Katie Holmes (in the above pixture) look beautiful with the hair do, but if i tried it i would probarbly look like i have a bloated fat face or i would feel naked and lost without my long hair...do i have hidden insecurity issues? probarbly.

Paris and Nicky Hilton in Japan
Paris and Nicky Hilton made time out of their busy shopping schedule to promote Designer, Samantha Tharvasa Bags in Japan.
By the looks of it, i think Paris Hilton's outfit got more attention then the bags themselves. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for cute 60's dresses and coloured leggings, but the girl looks retarded. I'm also sick of seeing those massive sunglasses.
I think it would have been better off if she had gone to Africa for charity work (like she promised) rather than let the world cast their eyes on this outfit.
Her sister Nicky wore a similar style dress, but ditched the leggings and let her Chanel Fall 2007 buckle booties do all the talking. These much talked about Chanel shoes are definitely very girl and, perhaps may look better with a tougher outfit, but for now these shoes are definitely not my cup of tea.

Paris Hilton Halloween Costume
At first i wasn't surprised that Paris Hilton totally slutted up her Halloween costume on order to show of as much of her bodily functions as possible, but when i discovered she was actually dressed as 'Alice in Wonderland', well that took Disney to a whole nother level.
I really cannot recall my mother reading to at night, describing Alice "trotting through the forest wearing thigh high tights held up by dainty suspenders while cheekily revealing her ass cheeks to onlookers as she headed towards the Mad hatter's home".
i do not know were this girl gets her inspiration from, nor do i know why her mother, sister, family...anyone...actually lets her out in public dressed like that, but my fond memories of Alice in Wonderland are slightly scarred after these photos.

Stars at the VMA's

The MTV VMA's is a night for stars to parade around in fun and quirky outfits and that's exactly what some stars did.
Nelly Furtado rocked out in a black satin jumpsuit/corset/wide leg pant...i don't know quiet what it is...but I'm not feeling it, she paired it with a lot of silver layered jewelry and Yves Saint Laurent Red Tribute Pumps.
Paris Hilton turned up to the VMA's in a loud Leopard Print Dolce and Gabanna corset dress. with a dress like this i would expect long sexy hair whisking around and a hint of naughtiness- sex-kitten style, but Paris seems to have held back and tried to go for a lady-like look. But i think the make-up and jewelry clash with the outrageous dress.
Rihanna looked absolutely striking in a hot pink body hugging dress paired with funky hair and studded shoes.
Other's who turned up. Melanie B from the Spice Girls (in a Herve Leger dress mind you)...and Miss Teen South Carolina...ummm...WTF??

Tom Ford Reigns on Celebrity Sunglass Parade
Just a few of my current favourite designer sunglasses that some of our most exposed celebrities have been seen wearing.
1) Paris Hilton: D&G d&g 6022b sunglasses
2) Nicole Richie: Tom Ford Anouk sunglasses
3) Rachel Bilson: Tom Ford Buckley sunglasses
4) Mischa Barton: Tom Ford Margaux Metal frame sunglasses
5) Ashley Olsen: Tom Ford Hawkings detachable sunglasses
6) Victoria Beckham: Gucci 2591s Buckle side sunglasses
And with a 4/6 domination, it is clear that Tom Ford sunglasses are the winning celebrity eye wear source. The pics just show a few sites online were you can purchase or view any of these sunglasses.

Celebrities Old Fat and Gender Confused?
I love these celebrity pictures that have obviously been photo shopped in order give us a little bit of insight into the way in which these celebs will look if they put on a couple of pounds, added on a couple of years or perhaps changed their gender.
For some reason, i can imagine Fergie and Madonna looking like that in 20 years and the Nicole Richie one is perfect. I can't really tell the difference between Michael Jackson in the photo and at his present state. And doesn't Paris Hilton make a good man?

Paris Hilton without extensions!
A lot of people are liking Paris Hilton without long blonde extensions in her hair, but i don't know if I'm really liking her new look. I'm so used to Paris being the little Blonde Hollywood Barbie Doll, that this extra short do isn't appealing to me.
It makes her look a lot older and more mature which is perhaps what she's going for...what do you think of Paris' new hair, love it or hate it?

Awkward picture of the week

Probarbly a very innocent situation but comes across very awkward. Just a picuture taken at Paris Hilton's beach house party, this photo really speaks for itself.
