What do you think about her hairstyle? It's like a play on the French-braid. I kinda like it, but I'd have to see it more to say for sure. What do you think?

Jessica Alba's New Haircut

Just when I'm starting to think that Jessica Alba has fallen off the face of the earth, here she is again!


What do you think of Jessica Alba's new haircut? I like it better when she does the long hair with the loose waves/curls. Her updos are pretty chic, too, though.


I also really like her outfit - it's so casual-chic. I think I could put nearly the same look together using stuff in my closet. Hmm...maybe I'll wear that to work tomorrow?

Suri Cruise is Getting Big!

I can't believe how big Suri Cruise is getting...and how well-dressed she is all the time! I bet her closet's bigger than mine and I've been collecting clothes waaaaaay longer than she has!

Britney Spears Does Womanizer on ABC

Britney Spears has been doing a flurry of performances of her new hit "Womanizer" recently. Britney performed on ABC's Good Morning America earlier today with a performance themed for her upcoming CD - Circus.



I have to say, I'm proud of her for straightening up. I like to be a positive person and always wish the best for everyone, so, Britney, you go girl!

Katie Holmes is Classy Chic in Black & White

I think I am getting more monotone in my outfit selections as I get older. I used to like to wear super-fun, uber-colorful clothes, but lean towards classic silhouettes in basic colors, nowadays. I can't help but love this classy-chic look Katie Holmes sported recently:



I wish I could get a better look at the dress because it looks to have some detailing near the top. Either way, I like how Katie plays up the simple black & white ensemble with some patterned pumps. I also love the double-skinny-strap belt she has cinching in the cardi. Very chic, Katie!

Hills Star Whitney Launches Site/Clothing Line Whitney Eve

Ok, so I'm sure you've all heard that Whitney, from The Hills, is going to star in her own TV show, The City, a Hills-esque show based in NY, but did you hear the latest news?

I just read on JustJared.com that Whitney has also launched a new web site (click here for site link), which features her Spring 2009 clothing line, Whitney Eve.





The collection seems to feature the same fun, flirtatious and feminine style that Whitney has been known to wear herself. So far, so good. I can't wait to see more of her collection.

Fingerless Gloves Go Red Carpet with Mena Suvari

Mena Suvari attended a party in celebration of the new Hugo Boss concept store in New York, NY. She wore a chic blue and black number with a blue satin-y, fitted skirt, trapeze-style jacket, and black, leather, fingerless-gloves.

Does this mean fingerless gloves are making a come-back? I've actually been wanting to knit or crochet a pair for myself...mostly because I wanted to wear them in my ice-box-chilled-office to try to stay warm, but this could be a good excuse to get started on them. :)

Oscars 2008 Red Carpet Highlights

What did you guys think of the Academy Awards 2008? As always, there were some super fab looks and some not-so-hot looks. In the interest of staying positive, here are my faves:


Marion Cotillard - I heard a lot of reviews on this look that were a bit negative, but I actually liked this dress. Maybe it's the cut? Maybe b/c I like mermaids? Hmmm...


Hilary Swank - Normally, I find black dresses a tad dull on the red carpet, but there are always exceptions...like this fabulous number on Hilary. I love all the details in this one - especially the gathering and floral/leaf-y details around the shoulder - so chic!


Cameron Diaz - Just fab! She really loves to rock that long, sweeping bang look, no? Anywho, the dress is so pretty, and kinda reminds me of these beautiful C Loubs and I really like how she kept her make up muted like the pink of her dress. The cut of the dress is my fave part - all those layers and folds!

After a long stint in rehab, Lindsay Lohan has finally stepped out again to see and be seen with her fellow celebutantes. The young starlette went to the Cloverfield movie premier looking a bit old for her years??? At least...that's what commenters had to say over at Just Jared.

Chanel...Skanky?

When I think of Chanel, I think of classy business suits, costume jewelry, and yummy, uber-chic, classic-styled purses. I think the key word here is "classic"...or "classy" and when I think of Chanel, I think "classy." I don't think "skanky." In fact, I didn't think Chanel clothing and accessories could look "skanky", but Pamela Anderson has proved me wrong:


Maybe they should take that piece of fabric around her neck and use it to cover her bosom a tad more? A little boobage is ok with me, but I think one is about to pop out! And, don't get me wrong. I'm not saying that Pamela Anderson is "skanky"...I don't think it's fair to judge someone you don't actually "know" (and even when you know someone, it's not really my thing to judge) but let's just say that this outfit is not my favorite. What do you think?

Nicole Richie is Pregnant in Style

I hope that when I'm pregnant (you know, in a few years), that I can be as fashionable as Nicole Richie. I think it's awesome to see pregnant woman rocking cute outfits. Not that pregnant women shouldn't wear comfortable, casual, and relaxed outfits, but it's nice to see that they can still dress it up a bit and still look just as chic. Gorge Giuseppe Buckled Pumps

With super strappy shoes being hot for Spring 2008, I'm actually slightly considering buying these. When I say "slightly considering buying", what I mean is, I'm imagining myself frolicking in the mall with my Chanel tote and gorge Giuseppe Zanotti's twirling around with lots of shopping bags filled with more Spring '08 goodies. Make that, twirling around in a Diane VonFurstenburg wrap dress...yea...that would be soooo cool. Sorta like Sarah Jessica Parker except more shopping bags...and more twirling...b/c happy people twirl.

Chic Swap: Channeling MK and Angie

Please excuse the slightly obnoxious Photoshop-ing, but I wanted to play a bit tonight. :) Girls just wanna have fun, right? Anywho, I wore this first outfit to work a week or so ago and it wasn't until tonight that it kinda reminded me of something Angelina Jolie would wear. Please don't take this as me comparing myself to Angie...I'm just saying the clothes look like something she might sport - you know, blacks...neutrals...heels - she really doesn't wear much color, does she?

Emmy Awards 2007: Best & Worst Styles

The 59th annual Emmy Awards were today, and here are some of my favorite (and not-so-favorite looks):

Kimora Lee Simmons

I don't care for this dress as much from the front, but the back - wow! Look at Kimora working it, too! You go girl!

Hayden Panettiere

I love Heroes and all, and I think Hayden Panettiere is beautiful, but I just don't think this dress is attractive on her. She looks pregnant. She's not pregnant, is she? I'm not the best on keeping up with celebrity gossip, so I could be behind the news on that one. I think this dress would look a lot better if the skirt were shorter...like, above her knee, but I'm just not liking this style on her. On the other hand, I think her make-up is fabulous. She looks really good from the empire-waist up!

Kristen Bell

I really like Kristen Bell's dress - especially with her skin tone and hair color...although, it looks a tad like something that came from the Lauren Conrad Collection, no? Just not the right color for that collection.

America Ferrera

Even though America Ferrera looks amazing in this outfit...I can't help but wonder why the belt doesn't go all the way around? I think it would better if it were a true belt...or a sash...maybe a patent leather belt? ...or a sparkly black sash with flowing ends that swirl about just a bit? mmm...
