There is no mountain high enough...

Last weekend I was in the countryside. I guess fashion' inspiration is everywhere, even in the most remote places, because there, old women wear scarves on the head, like seen in D&G a/w '08 collection. I wouldn't dare to wear that in the city, but in the countryside, it plays a key role in those women' wardrobes. They told me they used to wear the scarf for protecting themselves from the cold weather. Are you thinking in wearing this trend?

El fin de semana pasado fui al campo. Supongo que la moda est� por todas partes, hasta en los sitios m�s rec�nditos, porque en aquel peque�o pueblecito, las mujeres m�s mayores llevaban pa�oletas, como en la colecci�n de D&G para esta temporada que ahora empieza. Yo no me atrever�a a llevar esas pa�oletas en la ciudad, pero en el campo, esta prenda es una pieza clave del armario de estas mujeres. Ellas me confesaron que la empezaron a usar para protegerse del fr�o, y que ahora ya est�n tan acostumbradas que les resulta raro no llevarla. �T� te pondr�as la pa�oleta?

A key for this season: white tights

The crisis is the big issue of the season. We have to save in clothes and invest in accessories. White tights can make a very childish impression on somebody, but if they are worn with the right garments, it could bring instant sophistication. They are a cheap-key for this winter's trends.

La crisis es el gran tema de la temporada. Tenemos que ahorrar en ropa e invertir en complementos. Las medias blancas pueden hacer parecer infantil a quien las lleva, pero por el contrario, del modo adecuado, aportan sofisticaci�n al instante. Son una de las claves del invierno, y de lo m�s asequible.

Country girl

Country. That's the only word you need to know for autumn. Everything is about the country. I've never been a country girl, but I guess I would start soon. I love to predict trends -I know, this one is obvious- before the September issue's suplement of Vogue Spain, which I must say, is great. I don't like the total runway look, but I love to analyze the keys of the look, and then work them.

Hats and berets, neckerchiefs, tweed vests with matching jackets, and above all, under the knee skirts, corduroy and tweed are great options. Capri pants are the huge trend of winter, if you like country style or if you don't.

Campestre. Es todo lo que necesitas saber para el oto�o. Todo en moda tiene que ver con el campo. La verdad es que siempre he preferido la ciudad, pero creo que empezar� a optar por el campo en breves. Me encanta predecir tendencias -lo s�, �sta era m�s que evidente- antes del suplemento de Vogue Espa�a de septiembre, que todo hay que decirlo, es ideal. Normalmente no me gustan los total look del desfile a la calle porque suele ser bastante artificial, pero me encanta analizar las claves del look, y despu�s trabajarlas por separado.

Sombreros y boinas, pa�uelos, chalecos de tweed con la chaqueta a juego, y sobre todo, faldas por debajo de la rodilla -en pana o tweed es la mejor opci�n-. Los pantalones tobilleros son la tendecia m�s grande de la temporada, tanto si te gusta el estilo campestre como si no.
