We are used to have everything right after we desire it. If we want a pair of new jeans, we can't wait, we have to buy them immediately. That is good and bad. Good because -I am talking about Spain- most of our parents couldn't enjoy the prosperity we enjoyed until this huge crisis arrived. And bad, because we are not able to suppress our needs of shopping when we just cannot afford it.
Resisting the temptation is so hard! Every website has links to the abyss of massive shopping. It doesn't matter what: books, shoes, clothing, music... internet is the key to the dreamland. Everything is possible, but I am starting to think that this consumerism is insane. Maybe is because I am reading Chomsky too seriously, maybe because marketing executives are too good, but honestly, how can you desire another pair of shoes when you have more than fifty in your wardrobe?

Estamos acostumbrados a tenerlo todo siempre que lo deseamos. Si queremos un nuevo par de vaqueros, no podemos esperar, tenemos que comprarlos inmediatamente. Eso es bueno y malo. Bueno porque -hablo de Espa�a- muchos de nuestros padres no disfrutaron de la bonanza econ�mica que est�bamos viviendo hasta ahora. Malo porque no somos capaces de controlar nuestras necesidades de comprar cuando simplemente no nos lo podemos permitir. �Resistir la tentaci�n es tan duro! Cada p�gina web tiene enlaces que te llevan hacia el abismo de las compras, no importa el qu�: libros, zapatos, ropa, m�sica... internet es la clave para la tierra so�ada. Todo es posible, pero est� claro que este af�n de consumismo ha de ser insano. Quiz�s es porque estoy leyendo demasiado a Chomsky, o quiz�s es porque los directivos del marketing son demasiado buenos, pero honestamente, �desde cu�ndo tener en tu armario m�s de 30 pantalones no es suficiente?
